Funicular tickets 

Buy your funicular tickets conveniently in our online shop. Vending machines and kiosk staff are also available at our mountain and valley stations.

Train tickets for children aged 0-16 years
For children aged 6-16 years, a standard ticket for the ascent and descent is available at all points of sale at a price of CHF 7.
Children aged 0-5 travel free of charge. Please contact us at the point of sale or with the funicular staff.
Random checks are carried out at the entrance to the Giessbach cable car. Abuse is not worthwhile.

Pushchairs
Pushchairs can be transported, but the number per journey is limited. There may be waiting times. Please note that oversized pushchairs cannot be transported.

Wheelchairs
Due to the steps at the mountain station, the Giessbach funicular is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions, please contact us on +41 33 952 25 25.

Groups
Groups of 11 or more are requested to book at least 2 days in advance. Our event team is at your disposal on +41 33 952 25 98 or by e-mail at event@giessbach.ch.

Thunderstorms and Storms
For safety reasons, the Giessbach funicular may be suspended at any time during thunderstorms and strong winds. 

Validity
All train tickets are valid until the end of the exhibition year. A refund or extension of the validity period is excluded.
