As a general rule, tickets for the Giessbach funicular and the parking are non-refundable in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions.
Funicular tickets remain valid until the end of the current operating season and may be used on any regular operating day during that period for the purchased service.
Please note: If you were unable to use your ticket on your originally planned visit date, there is no need to request a refund. Your ticket remains valid until the end of the current operating season and may be used on any other regular operating day during that time.
For this reason, refunds cannot be granted for unused tickets or changes to your personal travel plans.
Parking tickets are issued for a specific date and time slot. By purchasing a ticket, a parking space within the available parking capacity is reserved for the selected time period. As parking capacity is limited, reserved parking allocations generally cannot be made available to other guests once the booking has been completed.
For this reason, parking tickets are generally non-refundable. This applies in particular in the following cases:
- changes to your travel plans,
- non-use of the ticket,
- late arrival,
- booking errors (e.g. incorrect date or incorrect time slot),
- accidental duplicate bookings (e.g. purchasing two or more parking tickets instead of the number actually required).
If you believe that your request requires an individual review, you may submit a refund request using the form below.
Each request is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Submitting a refund request does not constitute an entitlement to a refund.
